Remembering the Coastmaster

Searching through old photographs on Flickr, I came across a few from around 2006 depicting the old Coastmaster service. Today's photograph is reproduced under creative commons licencing from Flickr user "Walsall1995" - for more photographs please see here.

Operated by First's Great Yarmouth, the service ran between Cromer and Sheringham during the summer season. The long run from Great Yarmouth to Cromer and returning in the evening was done in service and operated as far as Seashore Holiday Park to attract the tourists.

The service was worked by one of a trio of Routemasters - RML2523 in Flying Banana livery, RML2717 in a depiction of the Great Yarmouth Transport livery and RML2480 in traditional London Red.
