New First "Five for a fiver" offer

First Eastern Counties have today confirmed details of a new day ticket offer on YarLow High 5 Day Ticket options.

The new offer allows five people to travel together across the YarLow network for just £1 each when a High 5 ticket is requested. The offer is available on Saturdays and Sundays only between Saturday 9th and Sunday 7th February 2016 inclusive. Within the group, only two can be of the adult fare class.

The YarLow tickets allow unlimited travel on all First Eastern Counties buses on Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft town services, including the 1 and 1A between Martham and Lowestoft. Further to this, the YarLow ticket allows travel on the X1 between Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Norwich and the X2/X22 between Lowestoft, Beccles and Norwich.

Sets of 25 vinyls were delivered to both Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft depots and have already been applied to some buses, Lowestoft Corporation heritage liveried 30888 included. The vinyls consist of the "5 go for a Fiver" tags.

A similar scheme was in place in Ipswich last year with near identical branding applied to buses.

My thanks go to Cameron Robinson for sending in his photograph (Right) of the new branding.
