Latest First Updates Summary

42914 at Lowestoft Rail Station on the 99 today (Syd Eade)
A summary of news as follows for the latest changes across the local First Eastern Counties operations.

At Lowestoft, the final four remaining "Jersey Darts" were delivered to First Kernow yesterday, other than one which failed and spent the night at Ipswich. Their sisters are already in service. Further Alexander Dennis Pointer Darts entered service in exchange, these being 42908 WX05RVV, 42914 WX05RVZ and 42938 WX05SVD. 42914 notably wears "Olympia" livery and the other all in Barbie.

These join similar 42911 WX05RVR,  42943 WA56OAS and 42926 SN05EAE. These three all wear Barbie livery. So I am told, they will all be lined up for repaint in the future.

At Great Yarmouth, Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLE 66168 W368EOW and 66169 W369EOW are both withdrawn from service. On the B10BLE subject, the new Norwich paint float 60626 R789WKW entered service today on the 36, this replaced previous paint floats which were not DDA compliant.
