Oddball Wednesday - Castrosua Carsa

The Castrosua Carsa bodied Scania N94UB (Mark Bowerbank)
The following is a post written several months ago but previously never published.

Another week, and another rare beast for the latest Oddball Wednesday feature. This week we take a look at the rare Castrosua Carsa bodied Scania N94UB.

YP52CUU was delivered to Scania in Worksop in January 2003 to become a demonstrator for the new combination. Castrosua were a new name on British shores, and one which to date has only ever been represented by YP52CUU.

I believe there was no use for it as a demonstrator, and it was sold to Kings Ferry who used it on a regular contract in the Cambridge area and later in Chatham. In 2014, it was painted white and left in the Kings Ferry yard for over a year. It has recently moved onto the Moseley South Dealership for onward sale.
