Former Norse Tridents find their way to Norwich School

The new order at Norwich School (Andrew Smith)
As reported when they were withdrawn following the change of the Norwich Park and Ride contract, two of Norse's Plaxton President bodied Dennis Tridents have now moved to Norwich school.

The vehicles moved are former Airport Park and Ride liveried PN03UMD and PN03ULT. The former has recently had its repaint completed, as seen in the photograph to the right provided by Andrew Smith, with PN03ULT soon to receive it. The duo are replacing the unusual pair of East Lancs bodied Volvo Citybuses, H684GPF and H653GPF. I am as yet unaware of their fate, though I would presume the scrap yard. Andrew tells me that decals are to be applied soon, and that the buses retain the Hannover destination equipment.

Of the Tridents sent to the Ensignbus dealership, PN03UMGPN03UMH and PN03ULP are all believed to be headed for Belle Vue in Manchester for schools work.

  1. H653 GPF is going via storage at Norse to East Anglian Motor Auctions, Wymondham for auction on 21st January 2016.

Both Tridents were collected direct from Norse. PN03 UME remained at Norse at that time.
