Streetlites in their full glory and other bits

I headed into Norwich day to grab some Black Friday Deals - and ended up spending the day filling the gaps on my list of buses I still needed to photograph. Many of these incidentally were the latest deliveries at First Norwich.

60916 entered service yesterday, and Simon has told me that 60915 was in service on the 29 band of services - but it seemed to illude my camera today!

The final Wright Streetlite Max buses delivered to First Norwich entered service today, bringing the the batch of eleven into their full glory for the first time. The eleven new buses have seen Norwich's fleet of former First Northampton Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7Ls decrease from twenty six (2012) to just nine. Most of them now reside in the Bristol area, with the exception of the trio transferred to Great Yarmouth earlier in the year. The new Streetlites have also seen a cascade-like process of moves, shifting four of the older 10.8 metre Streetlites onto the 39 and the other two as and where they are needed - sending the last two Alexander Dennis Enviro200s back to Lowestoft, where the Caetano Slimbus bodied Dennis Darts have began to depart from as a result (See East Norfolk Bus Blog).
