Odds and Ends - 01/11/2015

Euroview Coaches of Dereham have launched their new website
November! It is here already. Norwich Buses Blog will soon be in its third year and continues to grow above and beyond my expectations.

We will begin this week's Odds and Ends with something new. Euroview Coaches of Dereham, owned by Coach Services of Thetford, have launched their new website recently. To see it, please click here. On the subject, First Norfolk & Suffolk have also updated their website this week; see here.

Today is the final day of the Anglianbus and Konectbus network as we know it, before a number of cuts come in. I have heard others saying how they feel the current network is the largest it will ever be at. As of tomorrow, the Konectbus 2 and 2A will cease to exist, whilst the 5 and 53 will be merged and the Tuckswood section of the 53 withdrawn. Anglianbus X88 will be a much more frequent service and knock many 88 journeys of the spot, whilst the 7 will operate all the way through to Lowestoft to replace the 61 - which will run from Lowestoft only. All the other changes across the entire network can be found in previous posts.

There looks to be interesting changes on First's X1 and X2
As of this Wednesday, new First Norwich Streetlites 63324 and 63325 were dispatched from Wrightbus to Belfast Port for onward shipping. 63319, 63322 and 63323 were still at Wrightbus receiving mechanical attention to make everything 'spick and spam' before leaving for Norwich.

Notices and Proceedings Watch was missed this week due to me being in London, however, major changes registered are to First X1 and X2 (From what I have been provisionally told, they are rather significant), whilst there are changes to the Lowestoft network.

About Kieran Smith

Norwich Buses Blog was founded in December 2013 by Sam Larke after he left another popular blog, Norwich Bus Page. Since it's launch, the site has grown dramatically, especially whilst written solely by Kieran Smith during 2015. The blog is now in it's third year and we look forward to more success and growth in the future.
