Anglianbus Fleet Update

Anglianbus 903 (Then 306) in Ipswich in 2012.
The latest Anglianbus fleet update comes from the updated official fleetlist for November 2015.

Joining the existing withdrawn vehicles is Optare M920 Solo 903 AU04JKN. The bus had been new to Anglianbus, then trading as Anglian Coaches as vehicle number 306. It is seen here photographed to the right in Ipswich in 2012.

903 joins also withdrawn Optare Excels 216 W216PRB and 229 X229WRA and East Lancashire Trident bodied Dennis Trident 713 T813RFG. Remaining listed as withdrawn, and very unlikely to make a return to service, is gas-powered Caetano Ecocity bodied MAN 18.270 104 WX62HGG.

  1. What has happened to WX62HGG - there is no way that a vehicle of that age can have been paid for already (one would expect depreciation over 12-16 years), so I guess an event that I've missed ??

    1. It was hit up the rear by an Ambassador Levante resulting in a twisted chassis

    2. The accident happened one morning about 1015 during the summer on the Acle Straight near the Acle roundabout. Both vehicles were travelling towards Norwich.
