|Peak journeys on the X11 are to be operated by bigger buses|
Konectbus and Sanders have both recently been experiencing very busy buses, and have recently released passenger updates of their alternative plans.
Sanders are to operate the 07:15 X11 from Stalham to Norwich and 17:10 returning journey with a double decker bus with effect from tomorrow. As a result, the morning journey of the connecting 34 will be operated by a different vehicle due to low trees, meaning passengers are required a change of bus. The 17:10 return will be unable to operate the connecting 17:52 34, for which Feline Travel will operate the service on Sanders behalf departing at 17:55. One can only assume that these figures have increased so heavily following the withdrawal of First services 12 and 12A to the area from September 20th.
|Temporary relief buses are in place on morning 511 journeys|
At Konectbus, one of the two Norwich Park and Ride Mercedes Benz Citaros is off the road until mid-October. As a result, the 511 from the University of East Anglia has been operated by double deck buses in its place. To tackle the issue, Konectbus are laying on temporary relief journeys on the 07:50 and 08:25 journeys from Costessey Park and Ride, which are reportedly the worst affected journeys. The University of East Anglia's Student Union has expressed their concern via their social media platform and have been asking passengers, particularly students at the university, for reports of how they have been affected by the issues.
