Ipswich heritage bus to transfer to First Norwich

32479 will temporarily move to Norwich from this Sunday
With many thanks to a contact at First for informing me of this one; First Ipswich based Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL 32479 AU53HJV is to be transferred on loan to First Norwich with effect from this Sunday.

I am told the move will allow a bus from the Norwich allocation to be made spare, which will move onto Bernard Matthews contract work to and from Great Witchingham.

It will not be the first time the bus has appeared in Norwich as a heritage bus; it was loaned for two days, though not retained overnight, in May to cope with the Big Weekend shuttles and in June for use on the Royal Norfolk Show shuttle services. It also has made appearances in Attleborough at the Old Buckenham Bus Rally.
