Bernard Matthews Watch - 17/10/2015

First 33426 on the BM2 towards Norwich on Monday 12th October
Today sees the the first week of the new series recording allocations on the Bernard Matthew's services through Norwich. To recap the services, see here in a previous post.

First up, a driver of the Bernard Matthews routes run by First Norwich informs me that the route has recently been split in two to save time on the comparably long route. The current regime, run by two buses, sees one turn right at ASDA onto Boundary Road and complete the route as far as needed on the Eastern side of Norwich with the second continuing straight and picking up the final leg of the route from Aylsham Road to Bowthorpe. As a result, the services are separately numbered BM2 and BM3. I am also reliably informed that the Bernard Matthews work is to increase to four vehicles in the coming fortnight.

The table below outlines all workings recorded. Unfortunately, the buses appear at different times each day; so sometimes I have been unable to record the workings.

On Friday 16th October, alongside 33237 and 33165, a Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7L was sent to Great Witchingham to act as a relief bus, however, was stepped down with two deckers coping fine. When I photographed it, 33165 was looking almost full standing and seated.
