X1 on the X2 and First Norwich latest

X1 workhorse 37573 at Pakefield on the X2 today (Syd Eade)
It was a full day for me in Sixth Form, and sadly it appears I missed quite a few interesting happenings. Luckily, my trusty band of contributors were on the scene for photographs. Thanks go to Joe, Jamie, Dan, Cameron and Syd for their invaluable contributions recently.

First up, from Syd Eade, was the highly unusual appearance on Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL 37573 AU58ECX on the 15:25 X2 from Lowestoft to Norwich. Besides the fact the bus is actually branded for the X1, 37573 is allocated to Great Yarmouth depot - who have no involvement into the running of the X2. Also on the rare workings side today was the use of Blue Line branded 36170 BD11CFP on Purple Line service 36.

Jamie Glasspoole has been providing updates from new First Norwich school service 910. The service has so far been worked solely by single deck buses; a mix of native Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7Ls and loaned Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLEs.

Freshly painted 66980 at Attleborough today (Dan High)
Joe Wilson and Dan High have both reported two debuts at First Norwich today. Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE 69980 KX05MHJ has appeared on the road in Turquoise Line livery, whilst 66978 KX05MHE has appeared on the road in Purple Line livery.

Meanwhile, 33055 LN51GKO is now at the front of the queue at Rotherham for repaint and should be back in Norwich in Olympia livery in the coming two weeks.

Cameron Robinson has informed me that the Lowestoft heritage liveried 30888 is due to back very soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
