Anglianbus 61A is withdrawn to reflect the "seasonal demand"
It has been a busy week, with schools returning and a number of new services beginning plus the introduction of a massively revamped park and ride network. Work continues to re-open the waiting building at the six sites on the outskirts of Norwich , as work takes place on the North Norfolk Coast to improve Cromer Bus Interchange.

A small article on the Anglianbus website published Thursday 10th September reveals that, with effect from Sunday 10th October, service 61A is reduced to just a very small handful of journeys a day. Further to this, associated service 7 will see the 08:40 Sunday departure for Norwich withdrawn. Also on the changes front, First have released that - with effect from Monday 21st September - newly introduced school service 910 is re-routed to serve Frettenham at the beginning of the journey as a result of staff feedback on the tricky narrow roads which currently have to be negotiated.

This week's rare workings includes Sanders Plaxton Premiere bodied Volvo B10M 1007 YO52FHB on the 43 and First Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident 33168 on the 26 on Monday 7th September. On Wednesday 9th September, First Norwich Alexander Dennis Enviro200 45117 ST58JPT was in use on the 23 and 23A with sister 45116 VT09JPT on the 11 and 11A - both usually worked by much larger double deckers. On the same day, Konectbus 2 and 2A branded Alexander Dennis Enviro400 SN61CZY was in use on Park and Ride service 502. Friday 11th September saw Konectbus Alexander Dennis Enviro400 601 SN10CFE on the 8 and First Norwich Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7L 66332 MV02VBX on the 21 and 22.

32203 LT52WTJ is now back in Norwich after refurbishment
Grahame Bessey reported on Twitter on Friday 11th September that 33166 LR02LYD had been sent to Rotherham - here it will be re-trimmed in e-lather and have the rear section of its livery repainted to omit the purple section. He later confirms for me that 32203 LT52WTJ arrived back in Norwich yesterday where it has received the same treatment.

Jersey Dart 46863 EG52FFK continues to see use at First Norwich after supposed withdrawal from Lowestoft pending transfer to Bristol. This week it has been noted on Green Line services 14 and 14A and Purple Line services 38 and 39.

Thanks to Dan High, I can confirm that First Norwich service 12 - currently part of the Green Line - is to transfer to the Pink Line when the service is amended to operate from Wroxham to Norwich then to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital via Cringleford.

To sum the week up as always a review of the week's posts: On Monday we took a look at the latest fleet update from Richard's Coaches and proceeded for an in depth review of the first day of the new Norwich Park and Ride operation. On Tuesday, a few notes and jotting from the previous day in Norwich were shared followed by a further look at the new Park and Ride operation. Oddball Wednesday this week was the rare Marhsall Master; on the same day, a photo report from the UK Bus Users event and a report from a day of very rare allocations were published. On Thursday, a Konectbus throwback was published, coincidentally followed by a Konectbus fleet update in the evening. On Friday there was news from Lynx and the Coasthopper and photographs from the debut of 66977. On Saturday morning we brought an update from Our Bus and news from Konectbus in Wymondham during the afternoon.
