Oddball Wednesday - Hispano Habit

The unique UK Hispano Habit bodied Volvo B7L (John Law)
In July 2003 the Volvo UK took delivery of BX03OVZ, which became unique in the United Kingdom.

The bus was  B41F seated Hispano Habit bodied Volvo B7L, which was thought could become popular in the United Kingdom after much success overseas. Originally a demonstrator, BX03OVZ spent a number of years on trial with the likes of Arriva and First. It later ended up, however, at McGills of Greenock where it can still be found.

No orders were ever placed for the Hispano Habit in Britain.

  1. There was also a Bendy version of this body on the Volvo B7LA chassis which saw use in London and also with Lothian buses. It later ended up at Manchester Airport.
