Life after Norfolk - T128OAH

Former Ambassador Travel T127OAH (Andrew Stopford)
In March 1999, Ambassador Travel of Great Yarmouth took delivery of a batch of seven Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLEs.

The late 1990s was a time when Ambassador Travel had a great presence in Norwich, operating a large number of council tendered services. The batch of nine Renowns were delivered for the newly won contract to operate Norwich Park and Ride service 505 from Norwich Airport, which would be renewed in 2005 and awarded to Norfolk County Services.

At this time the entire batch moved to Blackburn Transport who, in 2007 after over 100 years of municipal operation, sold to Transdev Blazefield. The Blackburn Transport operation formed part of Lancashire United, where the batch can still be found in operation today.

The blog is now in it's third year and we look forward to more success and growth in the future.
