Improved September BorderBus 146 timetable revealed

A widely improved timetable is in place from Septmber 7th
The new BorderBus 146 timetable from Monday 7th September has recently been released, which hosts a whole range of impressive improvements. The report is split into two sections covering both Timetable A and Timetable B.

On both timetables, a new 30 minute frequency is introduced between Norwich, Beccles and Worlingham by including additional 'short' runs between the above points, an hourly frequency is maintained to Southwold.

Timetable A
The 07:05 146 from Worlingham to Norwich is extended to begin at Carlton Colville, the 08:37 from Worlingham is replaced by a new 08:23 departing from Carlton Colville to Norwich. The 09:32 from Worlingham to Norwich is extended to commence at Southwold at 08:45. As well as this, a new 09:27 journey is provided from Wangford to Norwich before the existing 09:35 from Southwold to Norwich departs.

Towards Southwold, a new 09:33 journey from Beccles to Southwold is added thus providing a half hourly frequency 08:33 and 10:03. New more frequent journeys operate in the evening peak out of Norwich; the 16:10 is replaced by a 16:20 as far as Wangford (All points after by request) with the existing 17:20 now operating as above - rather than terminating at Beccles if there is no request for any further points. There are also the above mentioned new short journeys operating as far as Worlingham.

Timetable B
The 07:05 journey from Worlingham to Norwich is extended to operate from Carlton Colville at the same time and a new 09:03 journey from Beccles to Southwold is added. The 16:10 departure from Norwich is shifted forward by 10 minutes to 16:20, this and the 17:20 from Norwich will both now operate as far as Wangford, and all points afterwards by request, rather than terminating similarly at Beccles.
