Sunday in the City

Now famous for being the first of the new buses to operate off of
the 8 is 620 SK15HKD.
This morning, accompanied by bus buddy and regular contributor Sam Larke, I headed into the city for some Sunday Spotting.

Our main reason for visiting was the sudden realisation that one of the brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro400s would be making its first appearance on the 2A and 2. Each Sunday morning, one of the five Konectexpress Straight 8 branded buses operates the 09:00 2A extension from Dereham to Holt, then onward to Sheringham. From here, it runs the 10:12 2 to Cromer and Norwich where it catches up with its sisters and spends the rest of the day on its native route.

Thankfully, we were both successful in photographing the bus after spending a good twenty minutes wandering around trying to find the best spot to capture it. Now famous for being the first of the new buses to operate off of the 8 is 620 SK15HKD.

Sanders latest addition, 228 YJ59AZA, is now in active service
Meanwhile, on competing Sanders service 44A, another bus which got us rather excited. The operators latest acquisition - a third Wright Pulsar bodied VDL SB200 - was out in service today, albeit devoid of any Sanders identity. Notably, it is believed that the seating moquette is identical (If not similar) to Konectbus' style but in a brown, rather than blue, shade.

Arriving on Wednesday, see our original report here, the bus has since gained fleet number 228. It is not yet confirmed whether more are due, although it is a possibility, however, likes its two sisters will see used across the Sanders network.
