Controversial changes to First's Norwich Network ahead

Cuts to the Blue Line will see the 24 hour night service, which
has operated for around ten years, be withdrawn.
An article from the Eastern Daily Press this morning reveals some controversial changes affecting First Norwich's flagship bus service.

From September 20th, the Blue Line 25 night service will be withdrawn. It is said that the final bus will run just before midnight, and the first bus of the morning at 05:20 Monday to Friday or 06:50 on Saturdays.

The Union of UEA Students have told the EDP that the 24 hour service is a "vital lifeline", and have claimed to be informing new students of the plans and urging them to take action by signing the online petition.

The 25 run from the Rail Station and City Centre to the University of East Anglia, operating straight through the centre of the vibrant Norwich club land on Prince of Wales Road. First have told the EDP that the cutbacks come following a review of passenger usage on the service.
