Sneak peak at new Konectexpress 8 buses and other updates

Freshly painted Sanders Omnicity 313 YN03UVM (Sanders Coaches)
Lots of updates have come in today during a day at work from four local operators.

At Sanders, Scania Omnicity 313 YN03UVM has returned from repaint at Full Circle in Banham. The bus previously wore the Postcards from Sheringham allover advert on top of the Anglianbus livery, where the vehicle was acquired from. The repaint, along with that of 321 YN08HXZ, means that the entire service bus fleet is now in full Sanders livery.

I am reliably informed that Awayadays Northern Counties Palatine bodied Leyland Olympian G520VBB made a return to service after a breakdown last week. It is expected that Alexander RH bodied Volvo Olympian P493MBY will head back off loan to Ensignbus shortly.

Cameron Robinson reports on Facebook that First Great Yarmouth Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL 32062 W422SRP returned to Caister Road depot this afternoon from repaint and DDA conversion at Rotherham. The return of said bus signals the end of the DDA work at Great Yarmouth.

A sneak peak at the new buses for the 8, due in August (Konectbus)
Saving the best until last, Konectbus today shared this photo on their Twitter, Facebook and website - which is a sneak peak at the new Alexander Dennis Enviro400s for the Konectexpress 8. Konectbus claim that the five new buses are set to hit the road in mid August. At the same time, the current buses on the 8 will move onto Konectexpress service 2.

Interior pictures show reveal that the new buses have Esteban Civic seating, with standard Konectbus moquette - as found on the Harford Park and Ride Enviro400s - and black leather headrests. It is also revealed that the new buses will feature USB charging points.
