Repainted 36172 in service and Konectbus news

Repainted 36172 is back out on the road, seen on the 25 earlier
First Norwich's latest repaint was back in service today following a makeover at Simon Morris paintshop in Ipswich.

36172 BD11CFV was on the Blue Line 25 today and has entered service with its "Norwich Netowork" vinyl retained. I believe this is to be removed in due course.

In other news, the first Norwich Park and Ride bus to be painted out of its current livery has returned. Konectbus Wright Pulsar Gemini bodied DAF DB250LF 501 YJ05PXB has lost its pink Thickthorn Park and Ride livery for standard Konectbus attire. It arrived back from repaint earlier in the week. As previously mentioned, the current Norse and Konectbus vehicles on the Park and Ride are to be replaced by a fleet of brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro400s in September when the contract to run all six sites transfers entirely to Konectbus; hence why 501 has had this treatment.

  1. The fleet number for YJ05 PXA ahould be 500 - 510's a B7TL. As for it being the first to be painted out of P&R livery, haven't several been done already?

  2. It's the registration I've accidentally done wrong, so thanks for pointing that out. I don't know which "several" you're referring to, the only ones painted back out were done several years ago due to a frequency reduction, not to make way for replacements.
