Newly repainted 36180 in service

Freshly repainted 36180 BD11CDZ this afternoon
Newly repainted First Norwich Wright Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TL 36180 BD11CDZ made its debut into service today.

Originally sighted on a Hellesdon High School run this morning, whilst in the city I worked out that it would run the evening return of the Bernard Matthews service 3 from the plant in Great Witchingham. So as I headed towards a bus towards there, it was rather surprising to see it had been swapped on to Red Line services 23 and 23A! Anyway here she is at Castle Meadow; note the now lilac-white painted headlight surrounds rather than black and the pink stripe ending before the front, as are standard in the First UK fleets on this type - much smarter in my opinion, but feel free to add yours in a comment below. Forgive me for the poorly lit photograph, Norwich was blessed with blinding summer sun today.

  1. Shame about the small black and white 'Norwich' fleet name! Who's idea was this!?

  2. Thanks for your comment. This is standard in the Norwich fleet, however, it is usually applied more central.
