Latest news from First Norwich

42921 EU05AUN midway through repaint at Roundtree Way depot
Thanks to heads up from our regular contributor Joe Wilson, I am today able to reveal some of the latest happenings at First's Norwich operation after heading over to Roundtree Way depot.

First up, and most exciting of all, is that Alexander Dennis Pointer Dart 42921 EU05AUN is currently being repainted. I was only able to photograph the rear end, as it was parked nose in at Roundtree Way depot. It currently sits in scrubbed down base white ready to have her new livery applied. 42921 was transferred back in January from First Great Yarmouth, originally being a temporary move, but later being confirmed as a swap for a Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7L.

The second piece of news is the application of a Cooperative Funeral Services rear advert on Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7L 66343 MV02VCW. The Cooperative Group has long worked with First and their advertising agency, CBS Outdoor, in the local area; previous adverts include overall wraps on Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLEs and rear end adverts on single and double decks buses across the Eastern Counties operation.
