Repainted Norwich newbee's first day in service

Newly outshopped 66977 having just entered service this morning
Today was First Norwich's newbee's first day in service in the fine city. The Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE was transferred to Norwich from Ipswich on Friday last week following a decrease in Peak Vehicle Requirement at Ipswich. The original article can be viewed here.

66977 KX05MHA was today out in service on the 38 and is pictured here a short while ago at St Stephens Street. The front end has been repainted out of Ipswich "RAF Blue" and into Norwich's Purple Line branded livery, for work alongside the existing fleet of Purple Plaxton Presidents.

Notably, the transferal marks the return of the type to the First Norwich allocation following the transferal of similar 69006 AU05DMF, which has operated for Norwich since 2005 along with five others, to Ipswich back in November 2014. 66977 is also the first bus in the Norwich fleet to carry real leather seating, as opposed to the E-leather seated Wright Streetlites.
