Megabus arrives in Great Yarmouth

15m Irizar i6 bodied Scania K410EB6 trial vehicle is the regular
on the route, which is to be extended from June 1st.
The Stagecoach owned long distance coach operator Megabus has announced today that from June 1st 2015, their smart blue coaches will be arriving in Great Yarmouth. The statement can be viewed here.

Existing service M37 from Cardiff, Bristol Birmingham to Norwich is being extended to serve the sea side town, presumably in a move to compete with Ambassador Travel operated National Express 308 - which also provides a link to Birmingham from Great Yatrmouth.

One journey a day in each direction will operate into Great Yarmouth, one departing for Cardiff at 09:20 and one arriving in the town at 20:10 after departing from Wales at 12:30. Coaches will use Beach Coach Station as the terminus point, rather than Market Gates bus station as National Express services do.

It is expected that the route will remain being operated by Stagecoach's Rugby depot, which has made 15m Irizar i6 bodied Scania K410EB6 trial vehicle 80025 YN15FVR the regular vehicle on the M37.
